久石 譲【Asian X.T.C.】

【序】

昨年から「Welcome to Dongmakgol」（韓国映画)、
「A Chinese Tall Story」（香港映画)、「The Post-Modern Life of My Aunt」（中国映画）と、近隣諸国との仕事が立て続いたことから、『アジア』の中の日本を次第に意識するようになり、また自然な流れとして『アジア』が今回の新しいソロ.アルバム「Asian X.T.C.」のコンセプトになった。東洋と西洋の楽器が交じり合い、『アジア』のかっこよさ（官能的な部分）を表現したいという気持ちでこのアルバムを作った。

この楽譜は、楽曲のメロディーを引き立たせるようアレンジを意識し、出来る限り多くの皆さんに弾いて頂けるようにした。演奏することを通してアルバム「Asian X.T.C.」の世界観をより堪能していただけたら幸せだ。

【序】

Since last year, I've had opportunities to score such films of neighboring countries as Welcome to Dongmakgol (Korea), A Chinese Tall Story (Hong-Kong) and The Post-Modern Life of My Aunt (China). I've become more conscious of Japan as part of Asia. Asia has become the main concept of my new album, Asian X.T.C.. As Eastern instruments meet Western ones, I've wanted to express the glamour of Asia.

These piano scores are arranged to bring out the melodies of the songs, so many people could enjoy playing. I hope that, by playing these songs, you could savor and share the world of Asian X. T.C..
